About the Swimathon

Our Swimathon is on again!

Join us for this fun aquatic event with the opportunity to challenge yourself, and at the same time raise money for two very worthwhile causes.

The Swimathon is the Maccabi Ajax Swimming Club’s major annual fundraising event, and this year we are also proud to support Beyond Blue, so please sign up to support us and Beyond Blue.

For the Maccabi Ajax Swimming Club, the funds raised contribute towards supporting our swimmers on a competitive pathway by providing them with more opportunities to compete at all levels – from Encouragement Meets to District, State, National and International events.

The link between swimming and positive mental health is well established, so we are proud to be supporting Beyond Blue, who will receive one third of the funds raised.

Beyond Blue has been providing support and services to people in Australia for over 20 years. They are Australia’s most well-known and visited mental health organisation, focused on supporting people affected by anxiety, depression and suicide.

You can find out more about Beyond Blue at beyondblue.org.au.
